Has anyone had experience getting help from the government to get your farm started? I am sure there are programs out there, but wonder about their value. I do not want to get into a relationship where I am expected to do things I do not want to do. But if all that is expected of me is to show receipts that I used the money to develop a farm, then that is reasonable.

I am also wondering about that.

Does anyone know of any program that helps ppl get a farm style bussiness going?

Like beekeeping, dairy, chicken eggs, and so much more.

I live in the UK, so don't know what might be available to you, but we have a saying here, which may be universal, "He who pays the piper calls the tune".

Message? Even if there is money avilable, leave it! There will always be a price to pay.
