Our Jersey who freshened almost 3 weeks ago, is drying up in her left rear quarter. At first we thought it was maybe mastitis because she had flakes and loss of production for a few days. Now she doesn't have flakes, but we're still down over a gallon a day. We've been giving her the 2T of Apple Cider Vinegar in her feed, Peppermint balm, hot compress/massage and some Bova Sera. WE DON"T WANT TO LOOSE THE QUARTER, and we'd like to help her work production back up again - she was giving 6 gallons a day which we use!

Do you all have any suggestions on what to give her? I'd prefer for it to be natural so that I don't have to do a milk withdrawl but maybe I should just give her a few TODAY injections in that quarter?

Thank you so much,
Jenna

At this point, I would advise the use of the TODAY injection.  You don't want it to get worse.  Call your vet and see what they advise.
